About Us

Continually striving to produce excellence for the future benefit of others

The Kadina Oval Facilities Foundation was founded by two friends, Kent Newbery and Dean Flowers, as a Not-for-Profit charity to provide benefits to the Kadina and District community.

More particularly, as specified in its charter, the Foundation will aim to raise funds for the establishment, improvement or replacement of infrastructure in the Kadina Oval precinct on Doswell Terrace.

After consultation with sporting clubs that are based at the Oval, and with non-financial support from the Copper Coast Council, specific projects will be identified as worthy of fund-raising efforts to improve the facilities available to everyone who makes use of the Kadina Oval and its surrounds.

This will include a variety of sporting clubs plus the adjacent Kadina Memorial School and community groups such as the Kernewek Lowender Committee.

The incorporated body has been professionally set up and will be administered by the two founders in their capacity as executives of the Kadina Oval Facilities Foundation Incorporated Board.

Funds will be sourced through donations (these can be tax-deductible if desired), bequeaths, fundraising events, and grant applications.

More information is available on specific projects and will be regularly updated on this website.

Details of how to contribute can be found on the DONATIONS page or you can contact Kent or Dean.
